Welcome to our Website! 
(This is the story of how sexual abuse can and DID kill!) 

This website is dedicated to Matt “Magou” McGuirk who was the originator of the whole idea of
“Straight Up SolGier”!  

He had talked about it many times in his last few years of life.  He died on October 8^th, 2011 (at the age of 31) of what the autopsy stated was an accidental overdose of drugs.   His journey through life was cut short because he never really dealt with the “demons” inside his head.  He did everything he could to try and erase the memories of his youth and sexual abuse by one of his teachers. (He was the main witness to put the largest pedophile Case in the history of this county, James Bowen case # 90-5253-CFAES in prison for 155 years!)   He reached for drugs to help him.  

This foundation's goal is to help other children and families deal with “sexual abuse” and somehow come to terms with “How to get over it or perhaps better “how to successfully deal with the aftermath of destruction it can bring”.  We plan to align ourselves with the State Attorney’s office and any group that identifies children and families involved in sexual abuse that needs funding to help pay for counseling or other needed services for these individuals and their families.

In our memories we try to find comfort
from family and friends that we love... 

Although there are NO words
to ease our sorrow right now,
thoughts and loving memories
last as long as time endures…. 
Our memories will
grow more precious every year...
